People: The Analog Connectors of Your Digital Transformation
Thursday, July 12, 2018
11:00am - 11:30am EDT

The phase Digital Transformation is EVERYWHERE these days – and it means something a little bit different depending on your role in your organization – from the C suite, to the factory floor to learning and development.

Digital transformation is more about the transition to the Internet of Things, harvesting Big Data and Analytics, and having all of that data readily available to analyze and make better business decisions.  That might be technology on the factory floor to monitor and maintain equipment. It might be technology to improve productivity.  Or, it might be tools to monitor the return on investment of a training program.

What might be easier is to talk about what digital transformation is not.

It is not a single software purchase, putting a course online, or incorporating new forms of technology like virtual reality or a chat bot.  You might include those items in your digital transformation strategy, but converting a course to a new modality is not a digital transformation.

Digital Transformation is also not the replacement of people in your organization.  People become the analog connectors in your digital strategy.  They are responsible for:

  • Change Management
  • Coaching and Mentoring an online training solution
  • Inputting and maintaining data
  • Making decisions (and actions) based on analytics
  • Leadership commitment and support

Join us for this free 30 minute webinar, where Sheri Weppel, Director of Innovation and Strategy, will help you identify the key components of the digital transformation that need people to be successful and what those interactions might look like.

During this interactive webinar, Sheri will provide easy-to-understand insights on how the following roles become critical in a digital transformation:

  • The role of people in change management
  • The role of people in an online training solution
  • The role of people in data
  • The role of people in analytics based decision making
  • The role of leadership in a digital transformation
